Competition win! Studenthousing and a masterplan for Rogaland. Måns Tham Arkitektkontor and ByggVesta is one of four teams that will develop the Rogaland site in northern Stockholm (Kista/Husby). The site is a habitat network for birds and a (weak) link to the regional parksystem (Järvakilen).

The main idea behind the winning proposal is to build five city blocks along a transformed old highway while at the same time safeguarding and strenghtening the green corridor. Green spaces are more resilient when connected. This is true for neighbourhoods as well and the two can be combined. We look forward to develop this project together with the City of Stockholm and the other teams starting this fall (2020).
